A WHITE WHITE CHRISTMAS

It has become a tradition for my family to gather at my son's in June Lake, CA. for Christmas each year. Little did we know that this epic record breaking storm would hold us hostage for several days.

Four days later the snow began to melt. What a spectacular display of nature unfolded before our eyes.

Looking out towards Mono Lake from the June Lake Lodge. Mono is in the distance with a cloud obscuring it's view. You can see Silver Lake and June Lake at the bottom of the slope.

This is the view from the living room window. It was hard to pull myself away from this beautiful landscape.

It is wish for all of my blogger friends to experience a touch of magic in every day of the new year.
